Normally, disassembling phones is quite simple, but care must be taken. The phone can get damaged or broken if you do not disassemble the phone with care. If you do decide to disassemble your phone, for whatever reason, please remember that you will void any remaining warranty, and run the risk of damaging your phone beyond economic repair.
.Work in a clean and dry place – do not work anywhere near water or fluids. Use the correct repairing tools for the job (e.g.. for some phones you will need a Torx T6 screwdriver – do not venture to use an Allen key or small and faulty screwdriver, perhaps you get the screw out, but you will almost definitely damage the screw head).
.If at all possible work in an ESD secure place – as this is not practicable for most people, at least take caution of unloading as much static present as possible (by touching the unpainted frames of your computer for example) before begining.
.You have to use a small box near to hand to store any small parts you dissasemble, it’s all too easy to lose a vital piece or small screw.
.Take ultra care when allocating plastic components that are clipped together, you would not believe the number of phones I have seen with broken plastic clips so be careful.
